I smelled absolutely no rose in this. Smelled like alcohol and some other disgusting synthetic note which makes me nauseous. Don’t believe the hype!
Andra239911/22/25 12:40
Really good. Is is not a complete dupe of The Favourite but it is reminiscent enough. The dry down is lovely and sugary.
dragonair130911/17/25 02:23
IT STINKS. I tried it on my arm and it's so nauseating that I want to cut off my arm. One of the worst things I've smelled in my life.
Dorina9310/12/25 10:14
I had to come and comment, it's so good. Opens like a rose and continues smelling like litchi, rose and powdery (not too fruity, just the right amount). It's so good, especially for the price. Quite a girly scent. Once it dries down it becomes a bit musky too.
malakf10/06/25 02:41
THE OPENING STINKSSSSS but once it dries down it smells like sugary roses and musk. This smells exactly like irresistible by givenchy to me.
LuckyNLove10/01/25 16:54
Warm, musky goodness uplifted by sweet and bright litchi and rose.
Addictive.
SlothBeastCreatureBaby09/25/25 23:01
Sweet, girly rose scent with a trace of green leaves. Sweeter than Delina, less powdery than Noble Blush, softer than Infini Rose.
This may sound like a lame endorsement, but I like perfumes that smell nice, and this smells super-nice
Mariamaija Amélie09/09/25 03:51
Beautiful, ultra feminine pink rose scent.
I was underwhelmed at first, but the maceration worked its wonders and now it is denser, a bit sweeter and the rose is a dewy rose on a summer morning smelling its best. Amazing scent and quality for the price. I layered this with Noble Blush today and feel great smelling gorgeous. All year fragrance. Day and night. Whenever. Occation? The scent will "create" the occasion
cooperea208/25/25 06:51
So sweet, so feminine. Rosey sugary. I love it and I hate it. This will flip flop as I'm wearing it. Each sniff I say either "yay I love a sweet jammy sugary rose, how fun" and also "why am I wearing something so silly"?
Momto3Balls08/22/25 10:26
This would have been a great watery and aquatic rose scent, if it wasn't for the strong patchouli. I can't stand patchouli when it takes over a scent. My batch is from 2022, so it has matured and maturated. The patchouli is incredibly noticeable. Pass for me. Can't even sell it for cheap as Middle Eastern perfumes don't sell well second hand.
lauradahlman08/04/25 10:34
This reminded me of Toy 2 Bubblegum when I first sprayed it. When I tried them side by side on paper they are quite different but on skin they're a lot more similar. On paper Toy retains that sweet bubblegum candy scent from the opening and reads much more sweet well Mohra goes much more musky. On skin though they both dry down to a rose that is somewhere between rosewater and jammy with Toy leaning jammy and Mohra more rose water. They both have a watery, dewdrop on flower petal quality. Mohra has a subtle pepper spiceyness and has a soft slightly powdery musk, where Toy is very juicy and has a light cinnimon spiciness with a more woody quality. They're not exactly the same but I don't know if they're different enough that you'd need both but I think it would be safe to say if you like one you'd like the other. Mohra seems more sexy and grown up but still pink and very feminine where Toy is more fun, youthful and lighthearted.
Brileah07/22/25 20:39
Smells really good. If you like roses, you’ll like this one. A bit sour at the initial spray, only ever so slightly, but it dries down into a light mature rose. It reminds me a bit of A Thousand Wishes - Bath and Bodywork’s but with a lot of rose. Not a dupe for Delina and it’s definitely got a little soapy vibe to it. Not bad but not for my every day.
6/10
Mariiaguida07/09/25 14:38
Really harsh and sharp opening but it dries soapy and sweet. Like sugary rose soap. I like it. It has a strong sillage and its lasts really well.
Edit: it's like this has crack for everyone around me. It's my most complimented perfume. Everyone loves it, I receive at least 3 compliments everytime I wear it. If you want to get noticed and complimented, this is your girl!
Marck Menke06/22/25 14:27
This is a candy-sweet rose scent, like sugared rose petals on the verge of becoming an unspecified 'pink' floral.
Of course, as to be expected, it starts off juicy like rose petal jam, and ends dry, like rose petal powder.
It is an excellent example of its type.
...but now I want to find another very different rose scent. A moody green-tinged, natural rose. One that might be described as 'romantic', 'old-world', maybe even 'wistful'. Any ideas?
nevashiva06/20/25 20:59
I tried this in the shop, and honestly eyeing getting it, to me it smells like a you're the one bbw mist but with patchouli/green vibes, so it's less obvious sweet, and has a greener vibe, and has crazy lasting power although the sweet rose vibe is faint on the dry down it's more patchouli, but that fruity rose is there. I hate bottle and the name, but out of all the lattafa roses I tried this was the fun not "too middle eastern, where is the rose" kinda one.
Brilala06/13/25 09:22
I like this! I get the same kind of fruity powdery musk as from Fakhar Rose but not grape-y. It’s a brighter fruit. Syrupy lychee sounds like a good description.
It’s a powdery, musky, fruity, slightly young pink rosey perfume.
strawberrystar05/11/25 18:31
I like this more than I expected, however I find it very mature. I don't know if I will really reach for it
guntlia05/08/25 11:35
i have nothing to compare this to, this is just a standalone review.
on first spray this is a super sweet, fruity, slight rose. just so fresh and uplifting. not an old-school rose, it’s a modern rose.
it dries down less sweet, but still maintains its fruitiness. well balanced, equal parts litchi and rose. almost gives shampoo vibes in the best way possible.
the pepper is very light, as well as the patchouli. they mainly enhance the depth of this fragrance, they aren’t starring roles here.
my only complaint about this one is the over-the-top bottle, but that’s a petty complaint.
if you’re scared of rose but want to dip into it and enjoy fruity, sample this and see how it works for your skin chemistry. this was a blind buy win for me, but i never suggest others do as i do lol
jbaby28304/28/25 06:43
I'M IN LOVE! It's very very sweet, probably the sweetest one in my whole collection. It's not vanilla-sweet where the sweetness is a bit creamy and dense but sugar-sweet: airy and powdery. It's so sweet it gives me acid reflux whenever I wear it to bed 😵💫 but it's so good i kinda don't mind that it upsets my stomach. It's essentially a bright, happy, feminine fruity-rose perfume with a powdery musk base, but the fruit kind of overwhelms the rose. It doesn't smell like the dior rose and roses that it's compared to. The dior one is more rosy, this is more fruity. I smell lots of lychee and it lasts almost through out the whole wear. You can still smell the rose though, just it doesn't dominate. It's a rose perfume for those who don't like rose as a note (myself included). I usually don't like rose scents because rose usually smells too much to my nose. This is rosy for sure but not rosy enough even for me.
It smells youthful and optimistic. I feel like a princess who owns everything in Barbie pink and never once has to worry about anything in life. She looks at life through rose-coloured glasses. It makes me feel carefree, playful and feminine. It doesn't smell juvenile, but it also doesn't smell womanly. Like, it smells like a girlfriend, not a wife (in the best way possible). I feel like it can fit a wide range of age groups from teens to 50s, as long as you enjoy ultra feminine scents.
Longevity is around 3-4 hours and it stays close to the skin, which I love. I feel like it'll shine more in hotter weather. It fits all occasions especially on dates, an easy-reach for sure. And for the price point, you can't go wrong. It's blind-buy safe. I mean, I blind-bought it! But if I had smelled it before i bought it, I would still buy it.
Oh, if you own BBW You're The One body mist, this is basically the perfume version of that with the lychee replacing the strawberry.
Very mouth-watering and addictive 10/10
HeidiLynn04/27/25 13:53
This is a very sugary rose, more cotton candy than lichee and that taking prominence over the rose. What rose there is is a citrus tea rose. There is a berry-like note, a light fruitiness as well - maybe the lichee, maybe the type of rose. It dries down to a rosy white musk, faint and still sweet, after about 3 hours. One spray was enough to give light projection and not make my husband complain about being over perfumed, yet the scent was still very present. This is a juvenile smelling fragrance, simple and sweet; that’s not a bad thing but not necessarily my thing. I wish the rose were more prominent. But a fun cheapie to have on hand. This on a cool, overcast April day; it might be very different in the heat.
Ismellgood202404/23/25 22:55
I have to say, I really enjoy this one! The musk and patchouli notes really make this scent more sophisticated than your typical fruity floral! It is more of a “wear to the office for a meeting scent.” It’s feminine and polished, for a grown woman who has her stuff together and looks well put together. I’d say this is for 30+ but of course any age group can wear whatever they want. I really can’t get on board with a lot of the super heavy potpourri rose scents that are popular right now, but this one is more up my alley! I also feel like this can be worn year round due to the warm notes!
My world of perfumes!04/16/25 08:52
This is a perfume that smells like peppery roses with musk and bitter litchi. Its loud at the beginning but afterwards is fluffy/cloudy/airy kind of smell.
I think this is perfect for everyday use. Its inoffensive, girly, innocent, careless but that does not mean that it does not have character.
Here in Fragrantica compare this perfume with The favorite by Penhaligons and this is not true. I have both. The favorite is more powdery and lowder, its creamy and fluffy but this perfume by Lataffa is not a dupe or smells like The Favorite by Penhaligons. The pepper in this perfume you can smell it, something that in The Favorite is not present at all. Definitively The Favorite has better projection and longevity. This perfume has a moderate projection with a longevity of around 6 hours.
Gemini Erica04/14/25 16:04
This is heavier and more patchouli than I'd hoped.. very perfumey and not fresh/clean or jammy or fruity.. I barely smell the fruits at all. If you want sort of a classic designer-like perfumey rose fragrance you may enjoy this one. It's a scent I've smelled a lot before though and I prefer more modern takes on Rose.
Arlene_witha_Y04/07/25 09:44
If the bottle was nicer, less cheap looking, i think it would be more liked. The scent is quite pretty and elegant for being a rose perfume which can easily be seen as “old”. I think the hideous bottle doesn’t help. It’s weird how some of us are such visual creatures myself included. I have other rose fragrances that i love and this one isn’t bad but i reach for it less and i think its bc i hate the bottle lol. It’s truly an eye sore. The scent isn’t amazing but it isn’t bad either.
helga.sofia04/03/25 03:22
Heavy rose and heavy patchouli. It's not fresh, it's not jammy. When I bought it I thought it would be airier because of the musk and litchi...boy was I wrong. It's not a bad fragrance. It's very nice if you like a classic vintage chipre (like coco mademoiselle) and it has some complexity in it. It's perfect for date nights wearing high heel black leather boots. It's just not for me. I am more of a pink summer dress girl.
MushroomMissy04/02/25 11:22
I really like this one. It’s rose for someone that isn’t into rose scents, if that makes any sense. It’s smooth, sweet, and effervescent. Glad I made the decision to get this perfume. Love the dark Mohra too. They layer nicely together too.
ChelleSmellWell03/24/25 18:50
Gorgeous! Feminine, sweet, floral, not too rosey posey! Get you some!
Klmf202303/18/25 12:42
I’ve been trying lots of different fragrances this year and I want a rose scent but this is not it. It’s choking me and I only used 1 spray. Might be the patchouli that I don’t like. That’s really all I can smell. Smells like an old lady imo. I think you’d need to sample this before committing to a full bottle.
floboen03/11/25 05:04
I've bought so many samples of lattafa/ arabian perfs but this is my fav so far. not headache inducing at all, very fresh and floral. and so cheap too omg. this would be perfect for ppl who love roses n clean out of the shower scents
PipaFlowers03/08/25 00:53
I bought several lattafa scents and this one is probably the best. It has a nice opening of rose, litchi, lily of the valley and pink pepper. What comes after some minutes is a floral where the rose continues to be there with pink pepper, patchouli. After a quarter of an hour, on my skin and to my nose patchouli becomes the only dominant presence with a hint of musk and a sort of rosewood trace (which may be is the remaining of the beautiful opening floral now disappeared).
Once again a "undesired transformation" scent. This is due also to my skin reaction that doesn't retain flowers and overpowers patchouli, but also to the design of the scent. On my collegue patchouli doesn't become so harsh - still dominant - with a lot of rose with respect to my skin. I gave it to her. Not a blind buy if patchouli is not your element.
eliseys03/04/25 03:51
This is my first Lattafa perfume! My friend asked me to check out their website, and I was stunned by the beauty of the bottles and the intriguing note pyramids. Moira Silky Rose immediately caught my eye with its beautifully described composition and gorgeous design, so I took a chance and made a blind buy and I can highly recommend it!
On my skin, it opens with a sweet, youthful, just-about-to-bloom rose and a hint of pink pepper. On clothes however it leans heavily into lychee and rose. It’s fruitier than I expected, but still a beautifully feminine perfume. I plan to layer it with my Bulgarian rose perfume which I got from a market in Bulgaria to add more rosy depth. I’m absolutely in love with Moira Silky Rose and can’t believe I got 100ml of such a great quality perfume for such a small price, it’s truly a steal!
P.S. If you dislike pink pepper in perfumes, don’t worry! It’s not overpowering and simply adds depth without being cloying. The same goes for patchouli, as I don’t detect it at all.
swedishmilk1502/28/25 16:12
Something smells oud-like in there, i think it's strong musk along with the pink pepper. Bothers my nose and throat for a moment, but once that dries off a bit, it's so nice! An aromatic sweet rose.
Usual02/25/25 17:40
Currently at the middle notes and it’s giving me Givenchy Very Irresistible EDP. I still have my bottle of VI, and I compared them side by side. Couldn’t tell the difference.
alisonjwhiting02/22/25 08:10
Interesting, this one. A blind buy and I was initially disappointed, finding it oversweet and lacking a clear rose note. Trying it later, and next day, I started to enjoy it as the Turkish Delight effect came into focus. Still waiting for any sign of lily of the valley, but I will persevere! :)
Nicola377402/03/25 19:23
The packaging seems a little cheaper on this one, a light, Rosie musk. Few months on it is a lovely vanilla rose. It is really good. I’m keeping it.
Mrs_Lenocka02/02/25 06:01
Another big no for me. Smells like a old frowsy lady. It is a musty odour. Try it before buy. I don't feel silk and U don't feel any rosé.
IgaK01/31/25 13:44
Lovely, feminine fragrance. However dry down is bit too peppery for my liking. 8 out of 10
evie7101/12/25 10:16
This is my current #1 fragrance. It was fine out of the box but really came to life after months of maceration. It's just extremely pretty, scratches those itches in my brain AND doesn't irritate me after a while. A rare occurrence for a perfume. It's rosey but not a green rose, not a jammy rose, not a dark rose. It's a very bright pink rose on a warm sunny day. I get manicured palace park vibes. The litchi and pepper are really brightening it while the musk is keeping it smooth. Silky Rose really is a good name.
I saw someone else compare it to Dior Rose N'Roses which I have a decant of, and I do agree. They are quite similar on the dry down, but this one is considerably stronger and sweeter and lacks what I would describe as dryness in the Dior. And yes I do also get the oud. I think it's well blended and grounds the fragrance after maceration, but that is just my opinion. I have not smelled The Favorite to compare, though I can't imagine why they would smell similar based on the notes, but it's on my list since I love this one so much.
This also brings to mind a memory that is probably influencing my love of this. It's that is smells exactly like the perfume shop at the France pavilion at EPCOT, which is floor to ceiling wood and enveloped in a constant cloud of every french designer perfume mixed together sans Guerlain because they have their own store right next door.
10/10 🥰❤️🥰❤️
evantsi01/08/25 07:33
The mohra silky rose it's a light, powdery, floral, musky perfume with a more mature, perfumy and elegant vibe. It's for sure a feminine, coquette classic perfume.
At the beginning its very sharp and spicy but as it dries down, it becomes more soft but still strong.
Its very long lasting and especially on clothes it never goes away.
People seem to notice it when I'm wearing it and they compliment it even though I'm not able to smell it after some hours.
I would dare to say that maybe there is also a very light oud somewhere inside but it's not noticable and it fades away quickly.
zehrayildirim12/30/24 00:49
Nice scent, though not very special. It smells very sparkly, very bright. Fruity rose-y goodness. Kind of smells like a shampoo - in a good way. Would recommend if you're into this profile. It has a note that makes it deeper than expected. Overall, nice, but I did not ever reach out for it and gifted it to my cousin whom I love very much, who happened to really really like this scent while trying my perfumes.
tessture11/24/24 16:35
Lots of rose with some peppery notes. It's pretty and spunky, but too much rose overall for me. I like a little more melange.
Flowers bloom here11/23/24 06:00
If they took the oud out, this would be the perfect powdery rose. The oud is not evident until dry down and it mostly sticks on clothing long after the other notes fade. I will still wear Silky Rose but the faint oud brings it from a love to a like... : )
LLayton11/21/24 17:16
Arabic rose, litchi, and oud. Sprayed it a lot and let it sit on the side for several months until the oud and litchi mellowed out. Not at all like a la rose by mfk (no citrus) or irresistible by givenchy (no cedar). Maybe a younger cousin to club nuit imperial white. Happy rose, love it.
4/15/25 I tested Attrape-Rêves at Louis Vuitton and while silky rose is not as complex, the fruit/floral vibe is similar which makes me love this Arabian perfume even more.
Wlaagmal11/15/24 18:00
Mix patchouli with roses and you will get mohra silky rose ..such a nice and beautiful scent
ijelen10/30/24 11:37
It's OK but nothing special.
It's a light rosy scent with musk and some vanilla in the drydown. Definitely more feminine.
You can smell the typical arabian musk - similar as in Ajayeb (yellow one) but in this one it is better blended and maybe it's just match better with the rose than in Ajayeb with the mango.
I had a decant and it wasn't long lasting - probably around 4h. Projection was rather moderate as well.
pepperysaurus10/21/24 18:08
I have used an entire tube of the Bath & Body Works You're the One moisturizing body wash. 100% dupe to that, especially once the litchi fades a little. Can't speak to the dry down though haha
Mcfash10/21/24 14:18
It so disappointing. All I smell is musk, talc and a little rose even after letting it sit for 3 weeks. I returned this one. Maybe it was a bad bottle or needed to let it maturate longer but I have far better rose fragrances already like emerald vanilla and roses, impadia, delina ...
ToadyNose10/09/24 11:11
This is lovely. A lot more fruity than I was expecting but it is so pretty and sparkling.
umma toga10/01/24 02:32
I have had this scent for a while and really like it. Sweet litchi and vanilla with pink roses on a base of fluffy almost chewy vanilla. I recently tested miss Dior rose and roses, turned out silky rose is inspired by it. Only silky rose has a litchi twist on top and is heavier with the vanilla in the base. Both very beautiful scents. Also Bab Al Ward by Ard Al Zaafaran is very similar.
Alisa109209/20/24 03:17
I didn't like this fragrance at first but like most ME fragrances, this needs to sit for a couple of weeks before you'll get a good idea of what Silky Rose smells like.
When I first sprayed out the straw I got an overwhelming, headachy, synthetic rose smell. It's been sitting for 3 weeks now and I am in love with this little beauty.
It definitely starts out rose dominate but it's a creamy rose due to the cashmeran note. It dries down to a powdery, light rose sitting a bed of clean patchouli.
I can't wait for this to fully mature. Most of the ME fragrances that are sold in massive quantities don't get to maturate long enough in production facilities. They really aren't fully mature for several months.
I'm definitely a fan and will repurchase.
EDIT Now that I've had this for a few months I have a much better understanding of it.
This is one of those fragrances that truly smells different from person to person.
I get a rose, patchouli, peppery musk bomb. The longevity has increased and the projection is better: 2-4 feet.
This is a top 10 for me.
ClaraMorgon09/06/24 11:17
Omg, I have been looking for a creamy rose and this is totally it. One of my favorite rose scent so far and I own several. This one is not such strong rose like many others; it’s more like a delicate, soft musky sweet rose. I am in love with it. I can’t wait til it macerates and become even better.🥰 🌹
Omyasmin08/27/24 13:04
Omg this smells like Miss Dior Rose N'Roses on me. I know because I own MDRNR. Smells absolutely divine.
Hind Mourtadi08/26/24 03:04
1- For people whose like light scent this is a safe blind . Perfect for summer . You can layer it with any perfume you have
2- To people who doesnt like musk or poudry scent dont waste your money on this , or even if you like strong musk scent dont come across to this
3- This perfume made for people who like calm and non annocent scent
Momto3Balls08/23/24 08:32
The bottle is so pretty and dreamy! I really wanted to like this and am disappointed that I don't. It's just a like for me. Upon first spraying this, there is something really sharp that burns my nostrils. Luckily, that eventually fades and I am left with a basic rosy lychee scent. Nothing special and nothing outstanding. I wish it was softer and more florally sweet. Instead it starts off sharp, and settles down to another basic rosy perfume. I will try layering this with a sweet violet perfume to make it less sharp.
Beautiful bottle though.
Fresca08/21/24 01:14
I just got this one today. Does anyone else think it smells like a light version of Calvin Klein's Euphoria? I checked here, and they don't share any notes, but the similarity is there. I've heard that Lattafa fragrances need to macerate a bit before they really shine, so I am definitely not making any final decisions about this one just yet.
icerise08/14/24 21:01
This was not at all what I had expected. I wanted the juice to be as pretty as the bottle, and initially it was, but the dry down is just pure incense notes on my skin. It smells sour and smoky, definitely not feminine or attractive. Ugh, you know what it smells like?
Cumin!
Maybe it’s a different story when other people smell it on me, but I want to wear something that I would enjoy smelling on myself and would make me feel beautiful. Longevity of the floral and delicate notes are not the greatest, but that absolute scrubber of an oud or patchouli lingers even after taking a shower.
Decode08/11/24 12:52
The opening scared me a little bit. I think it’s the pink pepper. It initially smelled a bit spicy and it tickled my nose in an unpleasant way, but luckily it burns off quickly and you are left with a lovely soapy rose. The closest thing to this in my collection is Chanel Paris which has stronger patchouli and isn’t what I’d call soapy, but if you are looking for a juicy, soapy, rose shampoo type of scent this is for you.
Safira08/11/24 06:58
This is divine! Just got it on a whim, and without any expectations. I have so many rose fragrances, but none as aptly named as this one. This truly is silky, smooth, creamy and so, so delightful.
It's ultra feminine - I wouldn't even call this unisex - it's soft and pleasant. I get mostly rose, litchi and vanilla - no patchouli really unless it's there as a tiny underlying soft incensey aroma.
Probably one of my fave Lattafas so far.
Abeer Alatrash08/11/24 04:31
I have tested it in a perfume store, This perfume is starting smoky intensive amount of Patchouli amber mesk base, but when you get checking of the dry down more you discover that it's Oud not amber and patchouli, this is what I had smelled it only, not a special scent I didn't like it, but I prefer to smell it on mens, this perfume tends to masculine aspect more than feminine, in my openion. Rose note wasn't clear to my nose at all even you get to the dry down, but I smelled it on clothes in the next day.
Synthetic fragrance here is noticable, this scent is too loud for me, after 2 hours of dry down on clothes, I had smelled more and more clean mesk with a light hint of lily flower, In General I advise anyone going to buy any of Lattafa perfumes to macerate it from 2 - 3 mothes then start to use it, beacause the maceration make the pefrume ingrediants to be harmonizes together.
If you didn't smell this perfume before, I advise you to not blind buy. This Fragrance didn't suitable for majority of people, needs someone interest this fragrance, or likes oud because it is an ingredient that I think suits men's perfumes more than women's perfumes.
This fragrance suitable to wear it at night, in summer or spring seasons. sure It lasts along time.

I'm not a huge rose lover to begin with, so a rose perfume needs to be quite special for me to enjoy it. This is just really boring. It's like a mildly scented rose body lotion. For a rose lover this could be a great non-offensive perfume to office for example.
kahbsa9907/31/24 17:55
Smells inspired by Delina PDM. I only have the OG, with the rhubarb note. But This is a perfume for those like burberry (can't say it is a dupe) Light, soft, clean smell, a little sweet. I visualize a teenage princess wearing this. t's def nice.
waxworkdaughter07/27/24 03:56
I got this because of the popular connection with Penhaligon's The Favourite, but while this is a completely lovely fluffy sweet rose-white musk fragrance it has nothing whatever to do with the Favourite. It has no violet-mimosa powder, and no cozy-fuzzy ambroxan (the favourite and molton brown milk musk being the only times i've liked ambroxan because it's very soft and subdued). This is much more light-hearted and youthful, too, and yes it does have a kind of praline aspect as well.
this is very nice, not too jammy and not too fruity for warm weather without being an old fashioned rose-talc -- not that there's anything wrong with rose-talc and old fashioned powder scents, i am on a total vintage style kick because I feel like they have a complexity that the modern sweet-clean-simple scents lack. That said, I'm sure i'm going to use this a lot when i want something easy. However please don't buy this expecting it to even be in the neighborhood of the Penhaligan's.
April Culbertson07/18/24 08:31
I absolutely love this now, In the beginning i felt it was a very mature smelling perfume but oh how it has change in the 2 months since letting it sit. It has also gotten very strong. Please don't be like me and over spay this because you will be sorry. This is an unbelievable perfume for the price.
Jujas07/05/24 17:30
Completely agree with @annasarahr121! I definitely get a slight caramel /praline whiff as well. It was surprising, but one I don’t object to.
Like MANY Lattafa’s fragrances I’ve let this one sit for a few weeks and it’s blossoming nicely! To me it’s not a super “fresh” rose nor is it overtly jammy. Falls somewhere in the middle with that slight gourmand feel in the dry down.
It’s like Roses Musk had a baby with Prada Candy.
And now I’m the fun Auntie that loves that baby for a few hours but also feels happy to give that baby back when it’s on my nerves; accurate description of the three to four hours of performance. By the time I’m ready to switch it up so is Silky Rose. Works for me.
G.Adam07/04/24 03:45
Really fresh and youthful rose. Charming!!Unfortunately doesn't last more than an hour, but for the price I don't complain.
chasingfragrance06/27/24 00:43
This is a lovely fruity rose, but my god it punches me in the face every time I spray it. Very heavy on the musk and powderiness. I can't wear it because it chokes me out.
TheLostLenore06/19/24 16:49
I recently wrote a review of Mon Paris Intensement. I said it isn’t bad, it’s just a very common scent profile that can be found for much less money. This is a perfect example. I love this stuff. Mohra Silky Rose and I are having an intense affair and my husband can do nothing to stop it. This does come in like a lamb and go out like a lion. First little spray — oh, nice light fruit. A few more sprays and you are standing in a rose bush shoving lychee in your maw. Save your money! Don’t buy expensive fruity rose frags.
HeidiLynn06/19/24 04:06
This is a sweet, powerful suger-plum rose fragrance, with the tinyest hint of citrus, patch and powder. It’s a very pink rose scent, if that makes sense. Also, zero oud (I know, not listed but sometimes Arabian frags seem they can’t help themselves; this is very western). A bit of resting made the rose more prominent; first wearing was discordant and heavy patchouli. Now it’s smooth and sweet. I love musks so that note is just harmless background to my nose, helping the scent settle and not be shrill. It is also extremely strong and long-lasting - described by my husband as “holy s**t what did you spray”, “napalm” and “you need to wash that dress [sitting in the laundry basket and making the whole master suite smell].” He is not a fan of strong fragrances because of allergies, so I’ll be using this sparingly or when he is gone. But I did smell fabulous walking to dinner in 90 degree heat; I think the heat really accentuated the rose. 2 sprays was plenty. I may try decanting it into a roller ball so I can apply very sparingly. Recommend for fans of girly, sweet rose fragrances and perfumes with massive sillage.
_jenevieve_06/16/24 11:56
I just upvoted my like to a love. This has the best of many of my favorites… LVEB Intensément, Rose Extase, Delina Exclusive.
Mohra Silky Rose is one of my favorites now. It’s sweet, tart, fluffy and cozy. The rose/litchi combo is well done, and it is musk heavy which I love and fills a gap in my collection.
Kiwigrl05/25/24 18:41
I bought this in early autumn. It has the softness of a Dior floral perfume like blooming bouquet etc. After maceration of a few weeks the raspberry is more apparent, but it’s still a lot softer and short lived than I like. I will put it away until Spring/Summer and see how it goes in warmer weather. It’s pretty, not a projector at all sadly.
annasarahr12105/25/24 17:16
Mohra Silky Rose is just adorable! It's a fluffy, rosy, creamy, bubble-gummy, borderline edible rose; I almost smell caramel (and maybe vanilla?), but I think it must just be the litchi being all yummy and stuff...! It's very sweet and playful and even has a bit of a plastic doll note which sounds weird, but is also kind of cute! It is absolutely not an original scent profile, but who cares? It's so pretty, inexpensive, and good! Aside from smelling kind of in the same ballpark as the usual suspects, it also resembles Paris Hilton's Rose Rush (which is also a rose/litchi combo but leans a little fresher/more aquatic), Elie Saab Le Parfum Rose Couture (which actually has caramel in addition to the rose/litchi), and even a bit of Prada Candy Florale (which is technically a peony/caramel scent). If you enjoy these kinds of scents, it's currently an absolute bargain on FragranceNet where I got my bottle for less than $20!
abbigale05/17/24 17:27
Love the fragrance, perfect for any occasion or weather.
Initially I got this nasty bug spray thing but after a week in a drawer it went away. I assume it was the patchouli.
It’s a perfect blend of classic and modern perfume themes.
Classic because it’s powdery & extremely well blended to the point where specific notes are hard to pin down.
I think it gets its the modern twist from the lychee.
Admittedly I don’t know what lychee smells like but there’s an apricot like juiciness/sweetness throughout, that saves this from being harsh, generic, or uninteresting.
WingedCube05/05/24 06:15
Mohra Silky Rose is my "for work" perfume. It's a sophisticated, indeed silky, soft powdery musky scent that screams "I am a lady". It's elegant and feminine but in a classy way, almost...ethereal. It's a mother figure of a perfume.
Pange04/27/24 09:13
I really wanted to like this one but there’s an off note that ruins it for me. I have a nearly new bottle for purchase in the UK if anyone is interested. Please DM me for price and details.
TarantuLady04/10/24 08:22
I’m doing a wear test today & so far, I’m happier with this than I thought I would be! The initial spray + 10-15 minutes is not great & is a little screechy to my nose, ngl. But the dry down…wow! It’s a very feminine, soft, vanillic, musky rose that’s just a little bit juicy…with a gentle floral underpinning. The word “fluffy” comes to mind. Beautiful. I didn’t expect to love this…what a great blind buy surprise!
The only (minor) complaint I have is the tassle/cap situation. The cap is loose fitting & the tassle string looped around the top of the bottle is only tacked with something like hot glue on one side, so the rest of the string rides up where the cap seats itself & prevents the cap from staying on properly. It’s a little bit of a pain, but not a major thing. I’ll just hot glue the string down the rest of the way around the top of the bottle & eliminate the problem.
saffe04/05/24 08:07
I bought many Lattafa perfumes at once, and I wasn't expecting this to be one of my favourites of the bunch! I underestimated this for a big time 😅
Unlike the rest of my Lattafa fragrances, this one was instantly good to go and has no need to macerate. This is boozy, juicy and in your face type of rose, so definetly not for everyone! Hyperfeminine and sweet, just my style 🩷🌹
Marlinte04/05/24 01:44
Not gonna lie; I ordered this fragrance for the bottle.
It made my inner girl scream that she had to have it! And in this price range, well, it could have been much worse.
For the scent: it is okay.
Opening is fruity and sweet, and with rose for sure, but it doesn’t last long.
It dries down ( and really fast ) into a really light vanilla scent with a tiny hint of rose and musk.
It is not that special.
There are way more better rose perfumes available.
But that bottle, OMG I lóve it.
Makes me feel like a little princess.
Should I wear it often?
I guess not.
But every time I look at that bottle, my day will be good.
EDIT:
After a day ( and night out ) of wearing this perfume, I completely changed my mind.
This scent is fabulous! As a girl who mostly wears woody figs and and cosy unisex perfumes, I am so enthusiastic about how feminine this perfume is.
And what a uplifting feeling this scent gives me.
You can smell it for hours on clothing and in your hair and it is such a bubbly and happy scent!
I am going to wear the crap out of this girly pink scent this summer!
Let the woody and green scents stay on the shelf till autumn!
MySkin04/02/24 04:54
It smells old, French and old.
Reminds me of my mother's French perfumes from the 80s.
It's too heavy to be a "silky" rose.
I'm definitely not keeping it.
And don't get me wrong, I love Rose scents and have lots of them in my collection.
But this one is outdated, too sweet and aggressive to be around. At least to me.
NotHaunted03/25/24 16:14
I'm fairly new to the fragrance world, but I've been building up a fairly nice (mostly Middle Eastern) collection. I'm still training my nose, but I discovered fairly quickly that I really like rose scents, so I was ready to give this one a try!
This is a really pretty, fresh rose fragrance. Very youthful, but not in a teenager kind of way. Does it blow my mind? No, but I don't think it's supposed to. Did I absolutely need it? I already have Delilah by Maison Alhambra (PDM Delina dupe), so probably not. They're not the same, but I feel like they have a similar vibe with the rose and litchi notes.
Overall, this is a really nice fragrance of you're looking to add a fresh, summery rose scent to your collection.
MelissaLR03/20/24 17:34
This is Club De Nuit Imperiale light to my nose. Definitely is a middle eastern incense influence present. CDNI is too intense for my workplace, this one I should be able to wear at the office.
Powerfulpatchouli03/14/24 23:06
The time you had to light some patchouli incense after using the toilet and washed your hands throughly with rose scented soap.
Big juicy fruity sparkling rose scent on the opening. The dry down is just shameful! Boring, soapy barely there nothingness. Such a disappointment.
Querty03/12/24 12:15
This is okay. Not mind blowing, not terrible. I just wish i could smell this on me. After 20 minutes its like its barely there. I have to really concentrate to smell this. My bodylotion projects more than this does (nivea).
Overall i dont notice the intense notes that some are mentioning. If its there i dont mind it.
I Also agree the scent is similar to walking through a rose garden. Very summery/spring parfume for sure. Mainly because its very fresh, maybe a mit musky and ultra feminine. If you are looking for something that doesnt project and is a very skin like scent, and just want to smell of something light and airy and florals then this is for you.
I you are choosing between this and yara or one of the other Lattafa girly perfumes, Pick that not this.
Overall a 5/10. Scent is fine, but for me this is more like a body spray, not a perfume. The battle is hideous, and the silver ribben is glued on terribly.
Personalet i wouldnt repurchase.
Will Update if it gets better with maceration.
Booski03/10/24 06:41
Opens a little tangy, like a sour raspberry almost. After that it turns into a warm musky full delicious oriental rose. Not a mature rose, but rather like a young woman, full of joy. On me, it has something minty. It tingles and almost tickles the back of my throat. Underneath it all is the faintest hint of an incense note, which I don't particularly like. But it's weak enough to not pay any attention to. There's also a woody warmth to it. A lovely, warm and sprankeling rose scent! I should just add that I bought this hoping it would be a dupe for Penhaligon's The Favourite. They don't smell anything alike. Just so you know.
JasmineLajolie03/07/24 20:33
Mohra Silky Rose reminds me so much of Rose Rouge by Van Cleef & Arpels but like the flirty younger sister…. while Rose Rouge is the sultry and daring older sister… such a gorgeous fragrance, perfect for spring and summer. I do not get Delina vibes from this though
lovealwaysalisa03/07/24 16:09
Gorgeous fresh sweet rose. Reminds of something between Atomic Rose, Delina, and Delina Exclusif....but fresher. Very feminine. I'm going to love wearing this one this spring and summer for sure.
Flowers bloom here02/25/24 04:36
They should have named this Silky musk Rose. The opening is a cloud of musky Rose that slowly drys to a softer powdery, sweeter musky Rose. I don't detect any lychee or patchouli, which is fine with me because the beautiful blend of powdery, sweet florals with the double dose of white Musk is perfect... No Oud : )
AScent2Life02/02/24 03:42
Crazy! Out of my HUGE collection with many (also expensive niche) fragrances that I adore THIS incredibly beautiful cheapie turns out to become a top favorite. I hadn’t thought I’d ever find a signature scent, but this one feels like “home” to me. Like me in a bottle. At least for now (1-fragrance-commitment is frightening 😅)
It is admittedly very sweet, but somehow it doesn’t make my teeth hurt as it is also very light and airy yet has “substance”. I’m not going to choke any fragrance-scared people in the office, but there will be a pleasant sweet, clean, yummy scentbubble around me.
In the very opening Mohra Silky Rose does, for one single second, remind me of Delina Exclusif due to the rose/lychee combo - but after that it turns into its own. And what makes Mohra Silky Rose hit that exquisite spot for me is that my nose detects some sort of very subdued oud or incense in the mid/dry down that reminds me of Oud Satin Mood. OSM is MUCH stronger, but on my skin it is there and is therefore an OSM I can actually wear frequently. So it is this innocent, feminine, soft and airy scent and then is comes to have this little twist of a darker edge that gives it depth and adds character too. I’m in love! 🥰
What doesn’t make this fragrance any worse, apart from the ridiculous price, is that not too many people know of it. 😄
Should I mention one single thing that I could wish improved it’s the lasting power. On me this does need respraying halfway through the day (or I get anosmic?) but since it’s this affordable I don’t mind. ❤️
BrankaSK02/01/24 04:00
I'm suprised. Quality per price is amazing. This is for rose lovers, very feminine. Top notes (I hint a lot of rose and lily of the valley) goes quickly to the drydown wich is amazing. Musky rose with vanilla and red pepper. Sooooo good to me.🥰
Punarinta02/01/24 03:58
This is a juicy + light/airy rose scent to me. Not a mature rose, not jammy, just light and pink and easy. The drydown is less juicy (the lychee is mostly in the beginning) and slightly vanillic. Projection could be better tho, I feel like it sticks around but is really close to skin.
duaa abed01/30/24 09:16
why no one talking about the incense note . was shocked by it . i bought it thinking of idole by lancome or miss dior but its the really ennoying sharp note
AinoKaroliina01/11/24 08:53
Refreshing, sweet and juicy lychee at the top. The muskiness and the subtle pepper note are elevating this. The rose is not an oldfashioned type of rose note, but fresh pink roses which I love!
Really enjoyable and feminine fragrance.
If I were to compare this to something else I'd say this reminds me of Miss Dior fragrances. This scent has a sophisticated and graceful feel.
Such a pretty bottle once again from Lattafa. The silver cap part was not secured well though and it came off the glass right away so I glued it back on. Even though the bottle had these quality issues I still really think this perfume is really worth it to buy, because I do love the scent itself and the price for a big 100ml bottle was a really good deal for a designer level scent like this is.
snowangeline12/27/23 07:07
i also bought this blindly, and i'm so happy with it. i didn't know i was a fan of rose until i tested this. it's like walking through a rose garden in the springtime, refreshing and feminine.
scalesmells77712/23/23 06:19
This is my second blind buy from Lattafa and it’s safe to say I am hooked. Powerful rose, musk, and powder with a surprising sweetness. I agree with another commenter that it almost comes off as a raspberry note. Like if rose were crafted into a decadent desert. It’s a beautiful mature sweetness and isn’t candy floss or too gourmand. My only dislike is the bottle, it is pretty to look at but large, heavy, and a little clunky. Can’t wait to try more from this house.
rene.saller11/24/23 20:09
Mohra Silky Rose by Lattafa started out like a fresh, slightly fruity rose, with some greenery, and then dried down to a sweet vanilla rose with just the faintest hint of patchouli (thank goodness--I'm not a fan of Rose Petals because it's just too patchouli forward for my tastes). I get a slight chocolatey-minty note that melds with the vanilla and fresh rose in a lovely, quasi-gourmandish way. "Silky Rose," it turns out, is an apt name: it really does smell like rosewater concentrate blended into a beautiful silken custard.
Update: really enjoying this a lot. I get why people have compared this to Montale's Intense Cafe, even though it is obviously very different, noteswise. But it has the same sweet vanilla rose (without the sometimes pushy musks of the Montales and the Manceras) and some combination of notes that create a kind of cocoa accord. If Intense Cafe smells like you're in a French coffeehouse, with roses on the tables, Silky Rose smells like you're inside an actual rose, eating fancy truffles. In a way, this smells to me like several more complex rose perfumes I have, only streamlined and gently subdued.
The bottle is pretty, although the lid doesn't really snap on so much as sort of rest on top of the base, which means I need to think a moment before I pick it up to spray it on, but that seems like a very minor grievance when it comes to this delectable cheapie.
Update: I put La Nuit Trésor à la Folie on my left arm and Mohra Silky Rose on my right arm, and they are remarkably similar, especially on the drydown. MSR is much less expensive, obviously, and I just read that LNTalF was being discontinued, although I cannot confirm that rumor. So if you're a fan of the Lancome fragrance, consider trying MSR. It might end up saving you a good deal of money if it works as a sub for you.
Calvinrock11/24/23 15:10
I get notes of Roses (fresh green stem) lily of the valley and patchouli, the patchouli is blended really well. i also get raspberry, and because of the raspberry- it reminds me of Afnan modest deux.
i will update in the future about the longevity and sillage.
Smells nice but you need to like floral perfumes.
candycat30111/21/23 13:33
Most of my middle eastern fragrances are blind buys and I have been happy with all my purchases.
This is no exception. This fragrance smells exactly like the bottle looks. Pretty and feminine. Very well blended - nothing screechy or overbearing. Absolutely love it!
catherinesiofraprendergast11/08/23 01:11
I crave this during the day. Its so yummy and pretty.
Lillie711/07/23 11:41
Smells exactly like Cacharel Yes I Am Fabulous but this one is a bit floral while Cacharel leans a little bit to soapy clean notes
ScentedPlaza10/21/23 13:54
A good one considering the very affordable price!
To my nose - a fruity pink rose with lychee, raspberry and slight watermelon nuance.
A mix between Armani Si + Delina + Lancome Idole Aura
Oddly enough, gained more compliments during the summertime than some of my niche fragrances :) Just proves that not everything that glitters is gold, right?
Vibe: youthful & joyful.
Seasons: Spring & Summer day.
Hope it helps! My YouTube channel: @SanneParf
viktorijavla10/14/23 03:58
I really wanted to like it, although it doesn't work with my skin chemistry.
I love lychee and pink pepper notes, but I didn't detect them. Instead, all I could smell was a musky and extremely soapy rose scent.
876Beauty09/24/23 12:11
This is a beautiful, fresh, powdery, musky rose that is anchored by the lychee and vanilla. Omg!! It is in the same vein as Armaf Italiano Vivo, except it's a bit sweeter and creamier because of the vanilla and lychee and not as crisp.
If you are afraid of rosy fragrances, don't hesitate give this a shot. It's very youthful and not heady like many rose fragrances tend to be. This is love at first sniff for me.
Update: I just realized how similar this is to Givenchy Irresistible!!! The same rose and musk, except Givenchy has a pear note instead of the litchi
PKSMKE09/15/23 19:16
I really didn't want to like this. I need another rose scent like I need another hole in my head! But after spraying the tester on the back of my hand I keep getting whiffs of the sillage and it has such nice projection! I can see why people would get compliments wearing this.
d_silent_one09/02/23 15:23
@Candylover666 - I wouldn't say it's strong. I recently bought this perfume and I'm wrecking my brain trying to think what it is that it reminds me of. I know I have a perfume that smells like this one, which now, makes it redundant in my compilation of fragrances. This perfume is basically a fruity, sweet, powdery, rosy fragrance. It is identical to something I already have for sure.
Candylover66608/24/23 03:59
Can anybody tell me how strong the patchouli is?
On the website where I wanted to buy it the note of patchouli is not listed at all and I really dislike patchouli..
It’s being compared to a lot of fragrances that don’t have patchouli so If somebody has this perfume and also dislikes this note please please let a girl know how strong the note actually is xoxo 😊
Palmer Eldritch08/20/23 18:06
At first I wasn't impressed with this one, but then found myself reaching for it far too often to ignore.
Silky Rose opens up with a peppery fresh cut rose and sweet citrus fruit. There is no jammy or heavy facets in this one. As this dries down on my skin it gets more powdery, but not like baby powder or Delina Exclusif. Hard to describe, but it isn't like make up powder either.
I can smell the resemblance between Idole, Blossom Crush, etc. However Silky Rose remains far more youthful and cheerful with added sweetness. It's surprisingly fresher than I expected - perfect for warm spring weather.
And as a finale I can say: this is nothing like Delina. Not a Delina dupe.
P.S. Holy s*** a young man / complete stranger just complimented me on this one.
Bonnies08/08/23 11:31
Smells exactly like Lancome Idole and for half of the price..Probably doesn't last as long but the smell is the same...soft, feminine, rosey, pretty...its perfect
Twentzel08/02/23 05:23
Pretty sure it has more notes than the ones listed here.
I can feel incense, not super strong but it’s there.
Makes me remember my grandmother, not because it’s a vintage fragrance (it’s not) but she probably used something similar to it.
For me, it’s not similar do Dior Rose n’ Roses (I have it and it’s one of my most used fragrances)
It has an Arabic DNA for sure!
Pretty bottle and nice fragrance for rose lovers 🌹 😉
Peaches&Cream05/24/23 19:04
This smells so good. On first spray it is strong but starts to lighten up within 5 minutes and becomes light yet still can detect it. It isn’t sweet, on me it is more floral and powdery. Silky Rose smells like something that I can’t quite yet figure out. It doesn’t project, it becomes intimate within an hour even if I overspray, but it does still remain on clothing.
Mortredd05/01/23 04:57
So I've been wearing this scent and here's what I can say: it smells nothing like Delina. Instead i found it very similar to Miss Dior Rose n' Roses and Givenchy Live Irresistibile Blossom Crush.
Except Silky Mohra is their less pungent sister and in my opinion it smells much better than the ones I mentioned above,as it smells sweeter and the rose is more prominent. On my skin,It almost smells like a rose pastry and there's also an earthly scent I can't put my finger on. Either way,I recommend this for spring.
SummerRose02/11/23 03:08
This is a very feminine scent. On my skin, I get plum, berries, rose, nuts, vanilla, musk, and wood. I understand that this is a possible dupe for Penhaligon Elizabethan Rose. However, I have never smelt it, so I am not able to compare, but looking at those notes, they seem more in line with what I smell, to what is listed here.
I love rose and have quite a few fragrances with a prominent rose note, but I think if you don't like rose, you may still like this because of the composition with the plum note.
For me, I think it's a nice fragrance with moderate projection and longevity. It's a cheerful and happy scent without being too "juvenile." I think for the price, it's good value for money. I paid £19 for 100ml bottle. I don't think it's similar to any of the fragrances listed above. If you just enjoy rose, and you want another take on a rose fragrance, you can consider trying this.
I also have Mohra, which I see as the older, bolder, edgier sibling of Mohra Silky Rose. I consider Mohra to be a bit more unique but leaning unisex.
Overall, I would rate Mohra Silky Rose based on notes, performance, presentation, and cost - 7/10.
Shikin2701/01/23 09:16
Theres no litchee in this. And how in the world can this smell like intense cafe? Its sooooo far from it. No it doesn't smell like Delina either. The notes here are wrong. Come on now. Someone needs to get their nose checked. This opens with sweet pink rose with a little citrus, in the mid you will get very distinct plum note. This sweet rose and plum intermingles til the dry down of musky woody rose. This last forever. And arms length sillage. This is very pretty and unique. No oud in the perfume. Pretty safe blind buy if u like roses. And this does NOT smell like Irresistible from Givenchy, I have purchased that 4 times I should know.
